The Waco Foundation helps generous people like you build legacies that benefit both the present and the future of McLennan County. As Waco’s community foundation, we use our expertise to help people give back to the Waco community through grantmaking and assistance programs for local nonprofits.

It is our responsibility to provide you with personalized support to enable you to donate to the Waco community effectively. We have knowledgeable staff that can educate you on the different ways you can give to the Foundation and local nonprofits as well as the resources donors need to further enhance their understanding of how even the smallest donation can make a lasting impact in our community.

The Waco Foundation offers donors their choice of five different types of funds and more importantly a large unrestricted fund that allows for our highly respected, philanthropic Waco Foundation Board of Trustees to exercise their best judgment for the use of funds in our discretionary grantmaking process. This decision making process provides for the sustainability of the Foundation and for our area nonprofits.
