It is the goal of Today’s Action Tomorrow’s Leaders (TATL), and more specifically, their use of the LeadershipPlenty® program to increase the number of trained, qualified people who can serve as future leaders in Waco’s civic, nonprofit and government arenas.

WHY LeadershipPlenty®?

LeadershipPlenty® has been offered in other cities, evaluated repeatedly and has consistently proven itself successful in improving participant skills and knowledge in developing community partnerships, addressing community problems and promoting communication and collaboration amongst diverse constituencies.

The program’s curriculum provides practical tools for developing and strengthening the civic leadership skills of those who may not consider themselves leaders but have much to offer their communities; as well as individuals who currently hold leadership positions but still have things to learn.

IS this for me?

LeadershipPlenty® is designed for people of various backgrounds, occupations and experiences – if you have an interest in the continued development of Waco, then this training program is a good fit, providing the skills needed to help you effectively engage in and promote the community’s continued growth and prosperity.

We are pleased to offer this training to Waco Community at no cost!

WHAT will it require?

A commitment. To Waco and to engaging yourself in the community or nonprofit arena upon graduation if you are not already doing so.

Time. LeadershipPlenty® is a comprehensive training program. The curriculum is delivered using 9 modules and a practicum on race relations.  Participants will attend 10 consecutive, one-day sessions over the course of several months (each module is no more than 5 hours in length and can be tackled in full or in split sessions), which will be delivered on a semi-monthly or similarly scheduled basis. Participants are expected to attend all 10 consecutive sessions to be eligible for graduation.
