About Us
The Community Grant Writer Program is a collaborative partnership between the Waco Foundation, the City of Waco, and the Waco McLennan County Library. The program, which began 2001, was established to assist McLennan County nonprofits in accessing funding from outside of the county.

Eligibility for Services
Any 501(c)(3) nonprofit located in McLennan County is eligible.

Services Provided
   • Assistance in researching and writing grant proposals
   • Training in locating funding sources
   • Facilitation of collaborations between agencies
   • Coordination of collaborative grant applications
   • Attendance with agencies at government proposal bidders’ conferences
   • Notification of potential funding opportunities

Location
The Capacity Building Program is located in the basement of the Waco-McLennan County Central Library at 1717 Austin Avenue.
